Moebius Space Clipper Model kit

Touted as a re-release of the old Aurora 2001: A Space Odyssey Pan Am Space Clipper, this kit is a whole new tool. The detail and shape reflects more accurately, the dimensions of the shooting miniature used in the movie. Frank Winspur and his team at Moebius Models went all out to get the details right, and they succeeded. Boxed with a new set of decals for the surface paneling, the Pan Am logo is mysteriously missing, very likely due to a royalty issue, but the decals can be acquired through secondary sources. An original style Aurora stand compliments the spacecraft. The kit is very well engineered, and goes together with no build problems whatsoever. This will be my second Clipper built. I have had the original Aurora,(when it first released) and the old Airfix kit. The Aurora was close in dimension, but Frank & his team got it right with this one. Definitely 5 stars! P.S. Get the kit while you can, as it was done as a limited run.
